Nicole Zitomer, NP
Nicole Zitomer is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Women’s Health. Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Microbiology from the University of Rhode Island. After working in cancer research for a few years, Nicole received a Bachelors in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Nicole then continued her Nursing Education and received a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Family Practice from Farleigh Dickinson University. Nicole was the recipient of the Excellence in Nursing Award upon graduation. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Her experience in women’s health is extensive, beginning with her work as a nurse in Labor and Delivery for over fifteen years. During the time, Nicole became passionate about taking care of women who were experiencing a high-risk pregnancy. Nicole began working for Dr. Principe in his private practice during this time.
Nicole has been part of the team at David L. Principe, MD, for the past ten years, helping him provide outstanding care to his patients and in managing the practice. Nicole is extremely dedicated about her profession and treats every patient as if they were part of her own family.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful practice where she can put her passion for providing compassion, care, and education to women to work each day.
